That’s the number of cars that will be on the road this year alone. And we know that, for the most part, cars are made to be driven.
For the past couple of decades, the average car has been a pretty safe vehicle. But that changed in the late 1990s when the first safety-related recalls hit. Recall after recall, car after car was replaced with the shiny new “safe” vehicles. This created an almost instant shift in drivers’ habits. Car accidents decreased, and so did the number of cars on the road.
That change in habits has had a pretty negative effect on the number of cars on the road. The first year after recalls, the number of cars on the road was only about 1%, but by 2009 it was 2%. The number of accidents has dropped by about a full percentage point, but that effect is not as noticeable as it was in the early years of the recalls (which were relatively minor). That number is still falling, and it will continue to drop, though at a very slow rate.
This one is a bit of a double edged sword. It’s a good thing, but also bad because it’s a sign that the overall quality of our roads and highways is falling. I think there’s something to be said for having a few less people on the road than there used to be. Even so, I’d still like to see the number of cars on the road continue to fall.
I just read that our roads are at 3.8 mil for every 1 million people in the US. That’s a lot lower than we might be used to. I think it’s a shame that we need a ton of new roads, but at the same time I think it’s good that the world needs to get better roads.
This is what happens when you stop thinking like a human being. The reason you don’t have to be conscious about things is because when you stop thinking, you can just go with the flow. You can’t help but go along with the flow, even if you don’t see what you’re doing or think anything about it.
Another reason I don’t think we should be so worried about road construction and infrastructure is because we don’t need roads to grow. We need roads to move people. We need roads to get people going where they want to go. We need roads to get goods to people where they want to be. We need roads to get people to where they need to go.
I think that is exactly the biggest problem we have when our roads are built. All we need is a few people who don’t understand the business end of the equation and we have a pretty well-functioning road system. And let me tell you, it’s a business system that is very profitable.
It’s a big problem, but I think that this is the big picture of the whole idea of the business system. So I’m going to go back and look at our road system. The road system is defined as the way that you travel by the number of years you have traveled. You travel on one week, then travel on the next week, then make a year’s worth of travel.
This is a pretty basic road system, but one that actually works. It’s how you get to where you are today. This is called “The Average Road System.” We have the average road system because we have the road system that’s going to work for a very long time.
