One of the main questions I get asked is, “Where do you work?” The answer is that I work at a place that no one ever knows I work for. I work at a place that my colleagues dont even know I work at. I work at a company that is a small island in a big ocean.
So, the question I get asked most when I do my job is, “Do you really work for that company?” The answer is usually no. It’s usually a “no comment” or a “I dont know” or a “I don’t say that”.
For instance, I work for a company that has a very strong work culture. We have a very clear and well defined job description. Our job is to build machines. We are not allowed to discuss what we are building with each other. We dont discuss the process with our team. The only time we talk about it is when it happens to be a big project that we have to build.
The thing you learn about most jobs at a company is that when a project begins that is so big that it has to involve lots of people all working together, communication is important. And communication is even more important in a company that has a very strong work culture. The people at the company (or at least some of them) simply don’t want to hear about the whole thing and they may not be very forthcoming with it in general.
The problem here is that a very large project requires lots of people, lots of communication. And a very strong work culture. So if the people of a company dont want to hear about the whole thing, they dont want to get involved in it.
That is a very bad situation to be in because in that case, the company has to make more money or the project has to be cancelled. The problem here is that you dont want to get involved in something that is not part of your comfort zone. You dont want to feel like you cant do something that you know is not in your comfort zone.
This is a company that has invested a lot in the idea of being a leader in their field and they should be able to handle it. They shouldnt be in a position like that where they cant communicate their thoughts and ideas. They shouldnt be in that position where they cant work on something that may not be so hot. They have to be able to communicate their ideas because otherwise, you have to put up a wall.
