I’ve been studying the various types of consciousness for the better part of the last year.
The thing is, I’ve never used a term like “consciousness”. For me, it’s consciousness of self. Consciousness of self has a lot of meaning, but I’ve always thought of it as simply “self-awareness”. However, I’m starting to think that there may be an extra layer to it.
Im curious about the term “consciousness of self.” Ive heard it a lot in the context of self-awareness. Ive noticed that the more self-aware the person is, the more they tend to think about themselves. This makes me wonder if there is a “consciousness of self” that isnt explicitly self-aware.
I think that is a good question. But I also think that the more self-aware we are, the more we think about ourselves. I think many of us are, actually, not that self-aware. We are just more aware of the things that matter to us and that makes us conscious of our own actions and reactions.
I think we are most aware of what we do and our reactions to things, but we tend to forget about what we feel. I have a friend who has a lot of self-awareness, but she tends to be more conscious of how things effect her. She doesn’t think much about things in general, but rather about the specific things that affect her.
We tend to forget about what is important to us. We tend to forget that we are the boss of others, and therefore we tend to forget the things we feel are important to us. That’s the point of life. When we are in a situation where we have the brain to think about what we feel, we tend to forget that we are the boss of others, and therefore we don’t think about what we feel. It’s a lot of work.
Jenasequa is a sort of brainy version of the word “self-aware,” and you can tell. In one of the trailers (you need to watch it to understand what a trailer is) we see a scene from the game where you see the camera pan, then pan again and go back to where it was. Jenasequa is in the middle of an argument. Her hands are being held up before her face, and she is clearly looking at them.
Its a lot of work, in the sense that it’s a very time-consuming process. I have to spend a lot of time explaining to other people why when I do a lot of work I am going to have to do it again. The part where I’m actually sitting behind the controls of my computer and going “this is it, this is this” is also very time-consuming.
This is not the first time I’ve talked with Jenasequa, but it’s one of the first times I’ve talked with her about the games she’s been developing. It’s like you’re talking to a kid who has a really bad childhood and you’re going to talk to him about it and you’re going to have to talk about the dangers of that kid’s life, and you’re going to have to talk about it again.
