The lapidary slab is a term used in architecture and construction to refer to a slab that is raised from the ground into the desired height. From the most basic level, the lapidary slab is a low form of roof that is raised into a flat, non-curved structure with a very straight top surface. In this article I’m going to focus on the higher level of self-awareness.
The lapidary slab is the first step towards creating a curved roof. In this article we’re going to be focusing on the lapidary slab because of the curvature it has when it’s raised into place.
