You will see pyramidal decussation all over the internet and in my Instagram. It’s a fun new way to form a pyramid-like structure, but it’s not as easy as it looks. If you don’t have the patience for this, you will quickly get frustrated.
Decussation is the form of a pyramid that can be formed by three or more pyramid-like structures. The easiest way to form a pyramid is to have two pyramids side-by-side, but that’s not the most efficient way to go about it.
One of the more popular ways to form a pyramidal structure is using the ‘pyramid’ word in conjunction with ‘decussation’. In this instance, we would write ‘decussation’ followed by the word ‘pyramid’. Another way to form a pyramid is to have a pyramid-like structure that has a ‘head’ and a ‘tail’.
Decussation is the act of forming a pyramid by stacking two pyramids. The head of the pyramid will be at the top of the pyramid and the tail will be at the bottom. You can also stack three pyramids, which is the shape that the pyramids in Deathloop will be in. The pyramids in Deathloop are shaped like two triangles made of triangles, or a quadrilateral with half of it cut out and the other half a triangle.

The more pyramid types you have the more complicated and the more unlikely it is that you can actually get a pyramid that is the right shape for itself. It’s a good idea to create a pyramid whose sides are all the same height and slightly different widths, as that will make it easier to stack them.
