I found that if I was having a stressful time or a high-stress moment, I was more likely to be able to put on my “woe is me” face. I also found that if I could get a laugh out of myself, it made the situation seem a little less stressful.
I’m not sure if the fact that I’m not laughing is a good thing or not. If it’s good for me, it means it’s not good for you. But I guess it depends on the situation.
I think laughter definitely makes things a little calmer and less stressful. I think it helps if you can laugh at yourself, and if we’ve been saying that for years it has worked. If you can’t laugh at yourself, you probably can’t laugh at yourself.
